Pelt Colour: Dark Grey

Eye Colour: Deep red with flecks of orange in the center

Markings and Designs: Fire tipped ears and tail, and three vertical scarlet stripes going down the body. The bottom of his paws are red/orange, often making burnt prints in the ground from where he walks.

Scars and Scratches: Numerous small, hidden scars; one scar across his nose.

Wolf Build: Ashen is a tall wolf, but average built wolf. His muscles are more noticeable than others his age.


Persona:

Personality: Ashen can often be mistaken as the 'grumpy elder' of a pack. He enjoys tradition, judging others, and abiding by the rules. He is very passionate about what he does, hates to loose, and takes his pride and morals seriously. Interfering with any of his beliefs will result in explosions.

You don't want explosions.

He is an ambitious wolf. Ashen sets high hopes to become Beta, and eventually even Alpha. Whether he shall stay return to his birth pack, or create a new one is unknown. This great ambition is both his greatest asset and weakness. Ashen may go to any ends to achieve what he wants.

His work oriented, bossy views views and short temperate does not make him easy to get along with. He has always had trouble making friends. When the slightness thing goes wrong, expect Ashen to take things out on you. When things get too rough, Ashen will go to isolated areas to let out his destructive fire. Expressing his artistic side will calm his nerves too. The art of painting calms the Delta, and it is not uncommon to find his extricate designs sprawled throughout the camp.

Ashen thinks he is older and more mature than he really is-- with a high ego to boot. His character reminds me of the stereotypical teenage white boy. They think they know everything, but in reality, there is still much they need to learn.

Extra: His elemental core is centered in his tail. The fire tip can be controlled, or switched on and off. When upset his tail will instinctively flick on, revealing the glowing orange and red color. The tail is turned off when he is calm, showing a dull scarlet red.

Extra: He holds a protective nature towards his sister. He will constantly worry about her health and crazy ideas, often scolding her to act more mature.

History:

Ashen was born to Flare and Thunder in Lycos Forest a few months after the events of the Great Fire. Strangely, he was the second born-- meaning Raya is actually older than him. Though younger, he possessed a ambitious, adventurous nature. As a pup, he got into fights easily with Raya and and his parents. He was a spoiled little candle, and complained loudly if he didn't get what he want. It was his grandfather Cyrax whom he had most respect for. After spending some time with the Lead Warrior and learning his traditions, Ashen grown to deeply respect him. Ashen took up painting, and learned the symbols of the Shaman Warriors still as a pup. This hobby helped manage his temper tantrums as well-- which made Flare and Thunder very happy!

Ashen had a hard time deciding whether to become a Warrior or Delta at Apprenticeship. He wanted to follow Cyrax and learn from him, but he also wanted to lead-- to create something great. A pack that spanned far and wide over the continent. In the end the wolf choose to follow the path to lead and command. He still greatly desired the will to become strong, so naturally he spent most his work in battle training. It was here that he got his competitive nature-- towards "warrior apprentice" Raya especially. Lillian also became a target for him to surpass after discovering how intelligent and stubborn she was.

After training, Ashen became a Delta. Lillian has become an even greater rival to him. Not only was she older, but she was the daughter of Alphess Miyuki, making him even more focused on becoming better. A few months into his position, Ashen was becoming more and more aware of his lack of awareness of the world around him. He has never been outside his territory, and was increasingly becoming self-conscious about his views. He finally saw a chance to overcome his doubts when Cynder chose to leave the pack for a short amount of time. 

Ashen decided to accompany his in-law relative, along with his sister, to join the trip to his grandfather's birthpack. Ashen not only saw this as a way to learn about the surrounding land, but as a way to become stronger, knowing how strict the Shamanic home tribe was said to be. And so, Ashen became a dispersal wolf, leaving his home.

Currently, Ashen is residing in the Shamanic territory, learning how harsh the world really is.
